Following the traditional craftsmanship of Ru ware, agate is incorporated into the glaze, giving it a fine, lustrous texture with a soft, jade-like sheen. After firing, the glaze naturally develops a crackle pattern, with each piece bearing its own unique design. Its character will further enrich with daily use and care.

The piece is crafted using the fully glazed, prop-fired technique. After the entire surface is glazed, it is supported by small props during firing to preserve as much of the continuous glaze as possible. The small prop marks left on the base serve as a distinctive hallmark of traditional Ru ware craftsmanship.
