Inspired by the form of a lotus flower, the bowl’s rim incorporates the contours of unfurling petals, with lines that rise and fall naturally and flow softly. The body is full yet unheavy, retaining the refined charm of traditional vessels while presenting a simple, understated Song Dynasty aesthetic.

The glaze features a calm and gentle antique-style hue, which develops subtle variations in depth after firing at high temperatures. The glaze is fine and warm, with a soft, restrained luster that is elegant to the eye and feels like jade to the touch.

Incorporating natural raw agate into the glaze, the material fully melts with the glaze during high-temperature firing, giving the surface a richer and more vibrant texture. As the kiln fire and cooling process unfold, the surface naturally develops fine crackle patterns. The glaze color and crackle of each piece differ slightly, creating a truly unique pattern and unique charm for every vessel.
